VALUE ENGINEERING WORKSHOPS
In conjunction with the owner and design team, RFA's staff implements and coordinates formal value engineering workshops, which optimize the design-cost relationship scope of the construction analysis. As a vital member of the overall project team, RFA will advise and suggest various alternatives with regard to, construction ability and availability of materials and equipment. It is our normal practice to give consideration to alternate construction methods, systems and materials.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Our pre-construction management process revolves around the horizontal and vertical communication among our executive, estimating, purchasing and project management departments. The goals, in the pre-construction phase, are to aid in the design development effort so that the project can be defined, bought-out and constructed within the budget and time constraints.
CPM SCHEDULING
RFA can provide the planning and scheduling expertise to maximize project coordination minimize delays and identify the constraints of labor, cash flow, material and equipment.
DOCUMENT REVIEW
The RFA team will review the drawings and specifications at each stage of design development. We will review the documents for coordination and consistency between the architect and client, as well as for completeness for construction and bid-ability. The team will ensure that the development of the design is on schedule, within budget, and adhere to design and quality intent.
FACILITY EVALUATIONS
RFA can provide detailed facility analysis to owners and property managers. This service consists of a comprehensive evaluation of existing conditions, recommending solutions to problems identified and preparing cost estimates.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Complete project oversight, Managing quality control and mile-stones, such as long lead items that will become the projects primary daily focus. All the services from the pre-construction phase through the construction phase will be performed with our in-house staff. As construction manager, it is our responsibility to lead the team, a diverse group,
and keep them moving toward the mutual goal of finishing any complex project on time and within budget.
GENERAL CONTRACTING
Our core group of the best sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers in the New York Area allow us to perform General Contracting projects with the success our clients demand. We understand the process of managing lead times, sub-contractor and General contractor workforce and the total project schedule to ensure the project is completed
when promised.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
RFA will assign a full time project manager to your project and from the start they will organize the project with the design team and incorporate subcontractors in the design and engineering aspects of the project. RFA understands that starting a project this way allows all experts the opportunity to value engineer and stay on course with the prescribed budget.
COST ESTIMATING
Our staff offers a complete range of construction estimating services including budgets and preliminary and
final estimates. We maintain a computer augmented construction cost database to supplement the analysis,
bid evaluation and negotiation.
